New ICI Suite located in Whitehead 421

We are pleased to announce the opening of a new suite in Whitehead Room 421 that now houses the Nikon widefield, the FV1000 upright and the Nikon SIM as well as Workstations #1 and #4.

New microscope upgrades

We are excited to announce new upgrades for the FV1000 upright now located in Whitehead 421. The microscope was updated to facilitate slide imaging with all new DIC objectives, with a switchable nose piece for the dipping objectives, keeping the live cell capabilities of the microscope. more info

We are also pleased to announce the addition of a FRAP/FRET package on the Leica SP8 Multiphoton microscope broadening the capabilities of the microscope. These easy to use modules walk you through the experimental set up.

We also have a new 25X 1.0mm objective for the Leica SP8 for use with CLARITY-treated specimens. It has a free working distance of 6mm and broad range VISIR color correction optimized for one-photon and two-photon excitation. more info

Super Resolution N-SIM Microscope

Take a closer look at our Nikon N-SIM structured illumination microscope. This microscope double the resolution of conventional fluorescence microscopy with 120nm x-y resolution and 300nm z resolution. This microscope can image dual color green and red fluorescence (ex 488 and 561 nm). Samples are prepared with conventional methods, same as for confocal or widefield.
