The Mouse Transgenic and Gene Targeting Core (TMF), one of the Emory Integrated Core Facilities (EICF), is supported by the Atlanta Clinical & Translational Science Institute and the Emory University School of Medicine. We provide state of the art equipment and expertise for generating and characterizing genetically altered mouse models. Please contact us so that we can discuss your experimental needs.
The Jackson Laboratory is proud to offer several hands-on mouse techniques workshops in 2017. For additional information and to register, go to: www.jax.org/course-schedule
A warm welcome to Christopher S. Raymond, PhD, the new Associate Director of the Emory Mouse Transgenic and Gene Targeting Core. Chris joins us from Merck Research Laboratories where he most recently was a Principal Scientist in Pre-Clinical Development. Chris is a mouse geneticist having trained at the University of Minnesota with David Zarkower for his PhD and at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center with Phil Soriano for his postdoctoral work. He has extensive experience designing, generating and using mouse models and he brings this knowledge and clear enthusiasm to his new position in the Core.
- We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Ingenious trageting laboratory for full serve (project design, targeting vector construction, ES cell targeting and positive clone screening) project management. Blastocyst injections are performed on campus in the Core so that we deliver your mice as quickly as possible, with no import or time costs. Please contact us for details on full service subsidy.
