Remote Assistance

BeyondTrust is installed on all microscope acquisition computers as well as the analysis workstations.

It enables ICI staff members to view and control the computers and provide assistance while adhering to social distancing guidelines. A text-only chat feature is available, but for more complicated issues, switching to a phone/Zoom call may be preferred.

Standard working hours (dependent on each staff member's schedule)

A BeyondTrust chat window will pop up in the center of the screen. The staff member will then introduce themselves in the chat box. An icon in the top right of the window will show that the support session is connected.
