Emory High Containment Facility
Welcome to the Emory High Containment Facility (EHCF), one of the Emory Integrated Core Facilities (EICF). The mission of EHCF is to enhance research capacity for high containment pathogens and strengthen epidemic and pandemic emergency preparedness capabilities.
The EHCF offers infrastructure, technical support, training, and the regulatory compliant environment to investigators at Emory University and beyond. EHCF is supported by the Emory University School of Medicine.
Please call (404-251-4492) or email us to discuss your high containment research service needs.

Please acknowledge EHCF in your publications. See acknowledgments.
EHCF Mission
The EHCF is dedicated to advancing diagnostics and scientific research and ensure the highest standards of biosafety and ethical responsibility. By fostering collaboration with research partners, we provide the research infrastructure and technical support to contribute to basic biomedical research, and global preparedness against Group Risk 3 emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.

EHCF Vision
To be a leading high containment facility recognized for excellence in infectious disease research, outbreak response, and innovation in biosafety practices. We envision a world where scientific discoveries made at the Emory High Containment Facility translate into effective solutions for preventing and controlling high-consequence pathogens, ultimately safeguarding public health and promoting global health.
