The Leica SP8 multiphoton upright microscope features a tunable pulsed laser for two-photon excitation as well as laser lines from 458 to 633 nm for standard confocal acquisition. In addition to standard galvanometric scanning, a 12 kHz resonant scanner is available for gentler live cell imaging. Users with large samples will enjoy Navigator which enables non-rectangular regions of interest.
- Point scanning confocal with multiphoton capabilities
- Galvano and 12 kHz resonant scanners
- Special objective for CLARITY treated specimens (25x/1.0NA with 6mm WD)
- Tokai Hit stage top incubator for CO2 and temperature control (Model GSU)
- multi-color, z-stacks, time-lapse imaging, tiling
- FRAP, FLIP, FRET, photoactivation, colocalization, reflection imaging
- Software options include: Navigator, FRAP, FRET
