Nikon Crest Optics Spinning Disk

The Crest X-Light V2 L-FOV spinning disk unit paired with a Nikon Ti2-E inverted microscope enables fast and gentle confocal imaging with a large field of view.

Book me about Nikon Crest Optics Spinning Disk

The "Crest" has seven laser lines from blue to NIR for fast, large field of view confocal imaging in many channels. Two water immersion objectives facilitate high-resolution imaging in gels (Matrigel, hydrogel, low concentration agarose) and aqueous media.

  • Modalities: spinning disk confocal, brightfield, DIC, widefield
  • piezo z-stacks, time-lapse imaging, tiling
  • Perfect Focus System
  • Seven laser lines for fluorophores like: DAPI, CFP, GFP, YFP, RFP, Cy5, Cy7
  • Air, water immersion, and oil immersion objectives
  • Environmental chamber for live cell: Tokai Hit STXF-TIZWX-SET
  • Universal sample holders
  • Microscope body: motorized inverted Nikon Eclipse Ti2-E
  • hardware triggering for multicolor imaging without switching emission filters
  • Software: Nikon JOBS, General Analysis 3
