New: Request services using RAPID
We are pleased to announce that investigators can now request services from the Biostatistics Collaboration Core (BCC) using RAPID, the online request portal supported by the Georgia Clinical & Translational Science Alliance (CTSA). The BCC offers comprehensive biostatistical collaboration services to faculty, staff, and students at Emory University. Through RAPID, the Georgia CTSA offers the opportunity to streamline access to both the Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design (BERD) and BCC services that support Emory investigators. The BCC is a fee-for-service core facility that offers a wide range of biostatistical and data management services, while the NIH-funded BERD offers free but limited biostatistical consultations specifically for early career investigators affiliated with the Georgia CTSA.
Services provided by the Biostatistics Collaboration Core include:
- Assistance with development of study designs
- Collaboration on grant proposals
- Creation of analytic datasets
- Statistical analyses for abstracts and manuscripts
The Emory Integrated Core Facilities help Emory investigators use the latest technologies in support of their research in order to fuel discovery at Emory University. The BCC is an integrated core facility organized as a partnership between the Rollins School of Public Health and the School of Medicine designed to fill short-term biostatistical needs.
