*BCC faculty member Christina Mehta and student Ganzhong Tian co-authored publication with Department of Neurosurgery Brian Howard and colleagues received over 800 article views and over 100 retweets in under 24 hours. The work on the “Association of Overlapping Surgery with Patient Outcomes” is published in JAMA Surgery https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamasurgery/fullarticle/2661297 . *BCC welcomes new team member Ziduo (Kenny) Zheng who joined us on October 2, 2017. After completing his master’s degree in biostatistics from West Chester University, Kenny completed an internship at the Biostatistics Consulting Unit, School of Nursing, University of Pennsylvania. We are excited that Kenny has joined us adding his statistical programming and data analysis skills to the BCC.
*BCC Collaborator Wen Liu wins Best Abstract at Emory HSR Conference on May 10, 2017. The abstract was titled “Population-Level Cancer Detection and Treatment Patterns Following MRI-Guided Prostate Biopsy” ; BCC members Reneé Moore and Maggie Wang are co-authors.
