Biorepository Overview
ICMC Biorepository contains a large collection of bacterial samples isolated by the Emory University Hospital (EUH) microbiology laboratory as part of standard patient care, environmental samples and microbiome samples. These isolates/specimens are available for investigators. A corresponding database of all phenotypic laboratory characteristics of each isolate and important patient medical data is available.
The Investigational Clinical Microbiology Core collects various organisms on a daily basis from the EUH clinical microlab.
The Investigational Clinical Microbiology Core tracks Multi-Drug Resistant Organisms through our core biorepository by collecting relevant antibiogram data.
