Samira N. Yeboah, RT(R)(MR)

Samira received her Bachelors of Medical Science in Medical Imaging from Emory University’s School of Medicine and is CSIC's Supervisor, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist. She is responsible for supervision of CSIC's MRI Technologists and CSIC's MRI research support operational services (both human and animal study subjects). She works primarily at CSIC's Health Sciences Research Building II facility, but is responsible for schedule coordination and assuring MR Tech coverage for all 3T and 7T MRI scanner sites. Additionally, she works with principal investigators and their coordinators in setting up new MRI studies (reviewing the study protocol to determine both scanner parameters and subject requirements and performing any sponsor required certifications). She also works with the Research Nurses to review subject issues, performs study MR scans, and handles the transfer of subject data and records to principal investigators and/or sponsors.
