Miltenyi Light Sheet Microscope
ICI is pleased to announce, we have been awarded our second S10 HEI equipment grant for a Large Field of View Light Sheet microscope by Miltenyi, the UltraMicroscope Blaze. This fully automated microscope will allow researchers to visualize large, cleared samples at subcellular resolution. This includes organoids, organs and tissue, as well as whole small animals.
We extend our thanks to the list of users and groups that took part in the Miltenyi demo. Working with groups for this demo sessions while in the middle of the pandemic, we formed a solid S10 HEI proposal (5 major and 2 minor user groups) which we were fortunate to be awarded. Many thanks to all those that worked with us on the proposal.
Thank you as well to the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory and the Emory School of Medicine Core Labs for generously contributing to the cost of the microscope beyond the grant funding.
This exciting new microscope will be housed in our soon to open new location in the Health Sciences Research Building II in January 2023. Watch for further information about workshops and trainings.
