Imaging Services
CSIC core imaging equipment includes the following: (3) Siemens 3T MRI scanners for human MRI research; a Siemens 7T MRI scanner for human MRI research; a GE SIGNA PET/MR scanner for human research (shared equipment Winship Cancer Institute); Bruker 9.4T MRI for small animal MRI research; Bruker 11.7T MRI for small animal MRI research (anticipated availability Fall 2024); Siemens Biograph 600 PET/CT scanner for human PET/CT research; MicroPET/CT scanner for small animal PET/CT research (currently off-line, new equipment anticipated online late Fall 2024); and a pQCT bone density scanner for human research.
CSIC facilitates both human and animal MRI and PET/CT imaging services for Emory investigators and for external investigators within Georgia Core Alliance Institutions or other Georgia translational research partnerships.
